Little Book of Loss
As part of the work in Primary Schools children at all levels were invited to use art, craft and writing to express feelings around loss, and to think what might be helpful to people of their age who were expereincing loss.
A huge wealth of material was collected from a number of different shcools, and the project engaged an advertising and design company to work with a group of children to develop a selection of drawings into a resource for young children. The result was The Little Book of Loss, which was made available free of charge to all primary schools in the area.
Hard copies of this booklet are available by contacting Publications at Cruse Bereavement Care Scotland
